断路器的保护功能

断路器又称空开,其内部主要由主触点、反力弹簧、搭钩、杠杆、电磁脱扣和欠压脱扣装置组成。可以对电路中出现的过流、过热、欠压、起到保护作用。

过流保护

当负载出现严重短路情况,电路电流非常大,电磁脱扣线圈产生很强的磁场,并通过铁芯吸引衔铁,衔铁动作,带动杠杆上移,两个搭钩脱扣,依靠反力弹簧的作用,动静触点断开,从而切断电路。

过热保护

负载长时间大电流运行,断路器热保护装置发热元件温度升高,金属片受热弯曲,从而断开电源。

欠压保护

当系统电源电压过低时,流过断路器内的欠压脱扣线圈的电流小,线圈产生的磁场不足以吸引住衔铁,从而断开电源保护用电设备。

Protection function of circuit breaker

Over current protection

When the load has a serious short circuit, the circuit current is very large, the electromagnetic tripping coil produces a strong magnetic field, and attracts the armature through the iron core, the armature acts, drives the lever to move up, the two hook tripping, depends on the action of the counterforce spring, static and dynamic contact is disconnected, thus cutting off the circuit.

Overheating protection

When the load runs with high current for a long time, the temperature of the heating element of the thermal protection device of the circuit breaker rises, and the metal sheet is heated and bent, thus cutting off the power supply.

Under voltage protection

When the system power supply voltage is too low, the current flowing through the undervoltage tripping coil in the circuit breaker is small, and the magnetic field generated by the coil is not enough to attract the armature, so as to disconnect the power supply and protect the electrical equipment.
